James Davis

Attorney

James Davis is an experienced trial attorney who currently focuses his practice on personal injury litigation. He is passionate about helping others and supporting people who have been wronged through no fault of their own. Prior to joining Norden Leacox, Mr. Davis was a prosecutor for the Ninth Judicial Circuit of Florida where he specialized in Domestic Violence and tried numerous cases ranging from misdemeanor crimes to first degree felonies. In civil litigation, he has represented plaintiffs at one of the largest personal injury law firms in the country and defendants at one of the largest civil defense law firms in the country. He not only brings his experience as a trial attorney but also understands the tactics insurance companies and civil defendants use to defend against personal injury lawsuits.

In addition to the practice of law, Mr. Davis is passionate about contributing to his community. In 2024, he was elected by the local legal community to serve as a board member of the Young Lawyers Section of the Orange County Bar Association where he is actively committed to supporting the greater Orlando area. Since law school, he has volunteered as a Big Brother for the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Florida organization where he provides mentorship and guidance for youth who face unique issues in childhood. He is also the mentor to several law students from his alma mater, Barry University School of Law, seeking to join the Florida Bar upon graduation.

Mr. Davis is driven by helping others whether that be as a legal representative or as an individual in his community. Beyond the practice of law and his community involvement, Mr. Davis is a fan of music, comedy, the Florida Gators, and Detroit-based professional sports teams.
