Amanda Wright

Attorney

Originally from South Florida, Amanda Wright obtained her bachelor’s degree from the University of Central Florida in 2009 and her juris doctorate from Florida International University College of Law in 2012. Her career as a trial attorney began as a public defender in the Ninth Judicial Circuit, protecting the constitutional rights of indigent clients in criminal court in Osceola and Orange counties and obtaining significant experience in courtroom and trial practice.

In 2014, Ms. Wright transitioned to civil litigation, first gaining invaluable experience representing individuals in personal injury lawsuits at The Dill Law Group and then subsequently working as an employee of and representing one of the largest insurance companies in the country.

During the years spent defending the insurance giant against personal injury lawsuits, Ms. Wright saw first-hand the internal tactics used and encouraged by the insurance industry to avoid paying the true value of an individual’s claim.

Her knowledge of those tactics, internal procedure used to evaluate claims, and experience working directly for a Fortune 100 insurance company provides Ms. Wright with the knowledge and experience needed to prosecute personal injury claims on behalf of individuals methodically, aggressively, and in a manner that anticipates and diffuses the defenses the insurance company will ultimately raise.

In 2019, Ms. Wright left insurance defense and returned to the plaintiff side as a trial attorney at Rue & Ziffra. While there, Ms. Wright was responsible and an integral part of firm-wide trial strategy and preparation on all high-valued and catastrophic cases, while also litigating her own caseload, fighting for fair and just results for her clients.

Ms. Wright joined Osborne & Francis in 2023 as trial counsel, bringing her experience handling claims in both prelitigation and litigation phases, having successfully tried both first and third-party claims through jury verdict and obtaining seven-figure recoveries on behalf of her clients. She joined Norden Leacox in 2025 and manages the presuit litigation department while also continuing to represent clients through litigation.

Ms. Wright has been named one of the “Top 40 under 40” trial attorneys specific to civil litigation by the National Trial Lawyers as well as a Lawyer of Distinction in 2022, 2023, and 2024. She has also been featured in The Trial Lawyer Magazine and named one of the nation’s Most Influential Lawyers by the Wall Street Journal in 2025.

Ms. Wright is licensed to practice in all Florida courts, United States Federal Court for the Middle District of Florida, and United States Federal Court for the Southern District of Florida.

When not working, Ms. Wright enjoys spending time with and rooting on her son, who plays basketball for the Central Florida Legends and flag football. She also enjoys home projects, interior design, and traveling, especially to different Formula 1 races across the globe.
